Serial bus decode helps you quickly debug protocol issues by showing the waveform and decoded data in the same display. The 1 Series DPO supports RS-232 (UART), I2C, and 3-Wire SPI.
SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) has four signals: Data In (MOSI), Data Out (MISO), Clock, and Chip Select. To configure a bus, enable serial bus decoding from the Math/Ref/Bus menu. Then, select SPI. Finally, configure the channels and voltage levels for your bus. The decoded data appears directly on the waveform for fast correlation between signal behavior and protocol activity.
SPI decode will work with only 1 data signal.
