Serial bus decode helps you quickly debug protocol issues by showing the waveform and decoded data in the same display. The 1 Series DPO supports RS-232 (UART), I2C, and 3-Wire SPI.
I2C (I-squared-C) uses two signals, SDA (data) and SCL (clock). To configure a bus, enable serial bus decoding from the Math/Ref/Bus menu. Then, select I2C. Finally, configure the channels and voltage levels for your bus. The decoded data appears directly on the waveform for fast correlation between signal behavior and protocol activity.
I2C decode requires both SDA and SCL.
