What is the Meter Connect on a 6517B Electrometer and and how do I enable it?

Meter Connect is a front panel/ software control feature of the Model 6517B that internally connects Voltage Source LO to Input LO.

This is convenient when testing resistance. With Meter Connect enabled, the Input LO and Voltage Source LO need not be connected on the rear panel.
