Expanding High-Speed Interface Probing Capabilities
The new Tektronix TriMode™ P7725 probe extends the P7700 Series probing platform to 25 GHz, expanding measurement coverage for today’s high-speed serial and memory standards. It supports the following:
- DDR5/DDR6
- LPDDR5/5x/6
- HDMI 2.0/2.1/2.2
- DisplayPort 1.4/2.1
- MIPI C-PHY/D-PHY/M-PHY
Designed for use with the 7 Series DPO oscilloscope, the P7725 probe combines 25 GHz performance with a high-impedance RC input topology. This helps preserve waveform fidelity while providing the bandwidth needed to evaluate fast signal transitions, tight timing margins, and demanding signal-integrity requirements.

New TriMode™ P7725 probe
Measurement-system distortion can obscure the details engineers rely on for eye-diagram, timing-margin, and signal-integrity analysis. The P7725 probe is designed to preserve signal fidelity at the probe point while providing flexible access to high-speed serial and memory signals.

- Improved visibility into eye diagrams and timing margins by retaining the signal detail needed for margin decisions
- Fast, clean step response with minimal ringing
- High-impedance RC input topology that reduces loading at the probe point
- Low-noise, low-jitter signal path when used with the 7 Series DPO

- Direct-access measurements up to 24 GHz with the new P77STFLXA24 solder-in flex tip
- Coax-connected measurements up to 25 GHz with the P77C292MM 2.92 mm adapter
