My batteries in the NetTek (Y350C or Y400) are not running very long / are not being recognized / show "uncalibrated" (as seen in the control panel+ power management icon). How do I remedy this?
They may need conditioning before the smart circuitry in the battery indicates the proper level of charge or even their presence in the NetTek. The best way to condition the batteries is with the external charger (part number 119-6030-00). This has a feature for automatic conditioning before recharging.
The next best option is to completely discharge the batteries in the NetTek by turning off all power saver features in the power management selection in the control panel. Once the NetTek has completely discharged all batteries in both slots, recharge them fully (up to 8 hours).
Now repeat the process. The batteries should now indicate their proper charge level and show their status as "Calibrated". If this fails, change battery positions in the NetTek and retry. If the battery still fails to calibrate, it needs replacement.
