BERTScope PCIe Rx Test Application Software - V3.1.1

PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 Rx Test solution:BERTScope PCIe Rx test solution is based upon the procedure described in the PCI-SIG Compliance Test Specification (CTS) document. Receiver testing first involves calibrating the set-up as described in the CTS and then proceeding with various tests as laid down in the specification.These tests are accomplished by connecting the BERT pattern generator transmitter to the DUT receiver using fixtures and cables which are specified by PCI-SIG. The compliance waveform requirements as per the specification are met by the Tektronix BERT scope which is capable of producing PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 test patterns along with random jitter, sinusoidal jitter, signal amplitude, DMSI and CMI (Specific to Gen 4). Output of the DUT is transmitted back to the error detector in the BERT receiver to detect errors which can be assumed to have come from the forward path.
