5 / 6 Series MSO Probe Dynamic Range

Oscilloscope probes which contain active circuitry, especially with amplifiers in the signal path, have a limited dynamic range over which the probe behaves linearly. When input signals exceed this range, the signal may be distorted.

The oscilloscope has a built-in m.2 drive, labeled C:. This drive can be used to store waveforms, setups, and measurement results. However, this drive is not easily accessible to your computer.

6 Series MSO Bandwidth Upgrades

Bandwidth upgrades for the 6 Series MSO can be accomplished by ordering an upgrade product and entering a new software license into the instrument. The instrument bandwidth appears in the Help-> About menu near the top of the window, between the Model and Serial Number.

Can I record data from two USB RSA’s at the same time?

Yes recording of streaming data is possible up to 40MHz bandwidth for either free running or triggered data, using DataVu-PC with the RSA500A, RSA600A, or RSA306B’s.

Can I connect to two USB RSA's at the same time?

Using DataVu-PC you can indeed connect to two RSA500A, RSA600A, or RSA306B’s concurrently. Both SA’s need USB3.0 connections and adequate throughput, then you can select RSA LiveVu 1 and 2. Trial licenses for DataVu-PC functionality can be found here:
