What is the Power-on behavior (restore power behavior)?

Question :

What is the Power-on behavior (restore power behavior)?

Answer :

The power-on behavior of the instrument is determined by the BIOS setting. From the factory, the CSA8000 and TDS8000 instrument requires a front panel power button push to power-up. (This changed once in the past). If you require one of the other two possibilities (power-up if electricity, and restore last state (on or off) if electricity), then go to the BIOS (hold down the F2 key on the keyboard during the power-up) and change it (in the "Boot" menu, the "After Power Failure" selection). The rocker power switch on the back panel has to be ON for any of this to happen; the back power switch in OFF is the same as no "electricity."
