Is there a way to have the oscilloscope power up to a specific setup+ regardless of its last configuration?

Question :

Is there a way to have the oscilloscope power up to a specific setup+ regardless of its last configuration?

Answer :

In oscilloscopes with Win98 OS (Operating System), the oscilloscope will always power up in the factory default mode.

In oscilloscopes with Win2K OS, select Utilities, User Preference, and then select Startup. In this menu you have three options; factory settings, setup from the last session, and saved setup. Select Saved Setup.

The next step is to specify which setup file the oscilloscope will use. This setup file could be on the HDD (C: drive) floppy disk (A: drive), or a USB (external) Memory device.

Please note, if the specified setup file is not available (erased, storage device removed, etc.) an error message will be displayed and the oscilloscope will power up in the factory default mode.
