Discover how the 7 Series DPO redefines signal clarity.
See how good the noise performance and effective number of bits is on the 7 Series DPO in this video. You will visually see the difference between the 7 Series DPO with its 10-bit analog-to-digital converter and a traditional 8-bit oscilloscope.
7 Series DPO Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope

Built for the Demands of Tomorrow's Breakthrough
The 7 Series DPO delivers unparalleled signal fidelity, high ENOB, low noise, low jitter, fast measurement throughput, and an award-winning TekScope® user interface making it ideal for meeting the evolving needs of high-speed serial, high-energy physics, and key RF applications.
Low Noise, High ENOB - Unmatched Measurement Results
Maximize test margins with the low noise and high effective number of bits (ENOB) of the 7 Series DPO. Superior measurement accuracy, sensitivity and precision are enabled with our proprietary Tek85 low noise preamp, Tek79 10-bit ADC and advanced DSP algorithms providing more accurate capture and measurement of the signals of interest.
Highlights
- Resolve and measure low amplitude signals with low noise (523 µV at 8 GHz (0.10% FS) to 1.13 mV at 25 GHz (0.23% FS), 500 mV full scale)
- High Effective Number of Bits (ENOB) enables high resolution signal digitization (7.5 bits at 8 GHz to 6.5 bits at 25 GHz, 125 GS/s, 500 mV full scale, signal 90% of full scale)
- QuietChannel™ Technology further minimizes the noise from the oscilloscope signal path utilizing active CTLE (Continuous Time Linear Equalization) to compensate for channel loss
- Fully automatic, built-in Signal Path Compensation (SPC) requires no user intervention to ensure optimal measurement accuracy by adjusting internal gain, offset, and frequency response to ensure precise signal capture and high effective number of bits (ENOB)
