What is the range over which the numeric jitter measurement is made? Does it change with the line or field selection?

Question :

What is the range over which the numeric jitter measurement is made? Does it change with the line or field selection?

Answer :

The numeric jitter readouts are generated by the jitter demodulator circuit, and are completely independent of the sweep system. There are attack and release times on the peak detectors, however. The release time is on the order of 1 sec and does not come into play until you get into very low frequency jitter (under 10 Hz) called Wander.
