With two identical PCMCIA cards installed in an NT system, only one is working correctly.

Question :

With two identical PCMCIA cards installed in an NT system, only one is working correctly.

Answer :

The Card Socket Services routine in Windows NT is not capable of distinguishing identical cards installed in different sockets, so only one will work. Two different cards are okay. (Win95/98 can have identical cards because the driver is smarter and can recognize they are in different slots.)
