I have connected my MSO2000 (or DPO2000) series oscilloscope to a PictBridge printer using a USB-B to USB-B cable. But nothing is printing on the printer when I press the print button. What is wrong?

Question :

Answer :

You should be using a USB-B to USB-A cable.  Connect the USB-B end of the cable to the instrument rear panel USB device port (marked with PictBridge symbol), and connect the USB-A end of the cable to the USB host port (marked with PictBridge symbol) on the PictBridge printer.

You should also verify that the instrument USB device port is set to ‘Connect to PictBridge Printer’.  To set the USB device port, go to Utility > Utility Page > I/O > USB.
