Question :
How should I store the oscilloscope battery?
Answer :
Long-term Battery Storage
Li-ion: Store Li-ion batteries at 40% charge (indicated by an open circuit voltage of 3.75-3.8V) in a cool (15°C / 59°F) place. Do not store at full charge or in warm temperatures because of accelerated aging.
NiCd: Manufacturers recommend storage of NiCd batteries at 40% charge (difficult to measure, since open circuit voltage doesn?t indicate charge) and in a cool place. Storage of 5+ years is possible with this technology.
