Question :
Feature: What is the auto zero function?
Answer :
Over time, the internal temperature of the instrument changes. These temperature changes also cause the circuit components to drift. For every measurement, the SourceMeter instruments acquire the input signal, measure a reference voltage, and measure a short at the input of the A-to-D converter. Therefore, for every reading the instrument actually takes, three measurements are made to compensate for the thermoelectric EMFs. All three measurements are taken at the same NPLC setting.
