Can programs I write for the 8000-series control the instrument without another PC?
Answer :
With the introduction of Product Software, version 1.3.3, the scope can now be controlled without the need for an external controller. See the application note Analysis and Connectivity.
To use the oscilloscope to control other devices over GPIB: on version 2.0.x.x and higher this is fully supported, for older versions of the SW, please contact technical support.
