How can I decide if the HDMI sink is supporting the signal? / What is the meaning of "Does the sink adequately support the signal?"

Even though the sink reproduce the signal, if there is significant noise or black dots in the display you can say the sink is not adequately supporting the signal. Anyhow this is subjective, user needs to carefully choose this option.
