Question: Can the BNC output shield (outside of the BNC connector) of the AFG310 and AFG320 be elevated above ground?

Answer: Yes, the shield on the BNC connector is not ground referenced and can be elevated as high as 42V peak (AC + DC) or 30 Vrms above earth ground.
