I need to save trace data and screen shots from the TDS1000 and TDS2000 series. What do I need to do this?

Question :

I need to save trace data and screen shots from the TDS1000 and TDS2000 series. What do I need to do this?

Réponses :

To save data from the TDS1000 or TDS2000 series you will need either a TDS2MEM or TDS2CMAX module. Both of these modules includes a printer port, RS232 communications port, OpenChoice SW and RS232 cable. The TDS2MEM also includes a compact flash card and a compact flash to USB reader for the PC.  The TDS2CMAX includes a GPIB port for a full variety of communication options.

In the case of saving locally, use the TDS2MEM to save screen shots, setups, waveforms, or CSV files to the flash card.  With the TDS2MEM under save and recall select Action "Save All" then on printer button select "Saves All to Files". Now when you press the printer button these are saved to the compact flash: CSV file, Screen Shot in the format you have selected, and the setup under which the data was collected. Each time you save it will create a new folder on the card with the current data. By changing the Action selection you may save only information necessary.

In the case of transfering data to the PC you would go through the OpenChoice SW or use the commands in the programmers manual, 071-1075-03. This manual comes with the communication module or you can download it from Manual Finder.

Note: TDS2MEM will not work on the TDS1001 and TDS2004 models.  Use the TDS2CMAX for these models.

Note: The TDS2MEM and TDS2CMAX are no longer available, and there are no replacements.
