Can signals developed for the TG2000 be loaded to the TG700?

Signals developed with the SDP2000 software for the HDVG1 and DVG1 modules can be directly loaded to the HDVG7 and DVG7 modules. Signals developed for the AWVG1 and AVG1 modules are not compatible in format for use in the AVG7, AWVG7, and ATG7 modules.

For the DVG7 and HDVG7, there are some characters in signal naming that may not display correctly on the TG700. If your signal names do not look as expected, check the menu files used to create the signal names for characters such as commas, hyphens, or other characters. Change the signals names as appropriate and recompile the signals.

Signals are downloaded using the TG700 COMM program, provided on the CD-ROM with the instrument.
