The waveform file for the AWG must meet certain requirements on file lengths. There are three:
- Minimum length of 960 samples.
- Maximum length (this is governed by the maximum amount of memory in the unit, standard or optional memory purchased)
- Step size; for the AWG710/710B/615 it is 4. The file length in samples must result in an integer number when divided by 4.
