Series 2600B Firmware v3.4.0 and Release Notes -- Do not install on non-B
This firmware version is only compatible with instruments that are 26xxB. Do not install on 26xxA.
This firmware version is only compatible with instruments that are shipped with a firmware version that starts with a 3 (for example, 3.x.x). Do not install on instruments shipped with firmware version 4.x.x. or higher.
Changes in this release:
The embedded web applications (Virtual Front Panel, Flash Upgrade, TSB Embedded) which relied on an outdated and unsupported version of Java.have been re-implemented using modern web technologies to no longer depend on Java. TSP Express was removed.
Note: that the new web applications are only functional if the LAN password is blank or disabled for the web interface.
