What format are the streams in a PQA300 stored in?

The PQA300 uses its own proprietary format for storing test streams. You can download a document that describes that format and should give some pointers as to how you might convert from YUV to/from it below.

Often a simpler solution however would be to play your YUV stream into the PQA300 through the SDI input port and record that input as a user stream. To capture a new test sequence, simply configure the capture settings to save as a user stream and make sure the "header plus" radio button is enabled to add the striping across the top of your captured stream.
