One of the hottest topics being discussed this week at DesignCon is 100G standards and measurements. While DesignCon is certainly an important and well-attended event, we’re betting that not everyone interested in 100G can attend.
In the videos, Chris Loberg, Senior Technical Marketing Manager here at Tektronix; is interviewed via phone by Martin Rowe, senior technical editor for EDN. In the first segment, Loberg discusses the status of IEEE 802.3 and OIF-CEI standards. In the second video, Loberg discusses the new measurements engineers will need to make when characterizing 100 Gbit/s links on both PAM and NRZ transmission methods.
