How can I utilize the TDR measurement waveform to model a lossy transmission line?

There are two ways to model lossy transmission lines in IConnect. The lossy and lossy-coupled modeling algorithms allow the user to create a model when a single transmission line is involved. Such a model can be saved as an HSpice W-element, or as a behavioral model compatible with any other simulator.

If more than one transmission line is involved, then MeasureXtractor(TM) may be an easier approach. MeasureXtractor extracts a behavioral model that matches the frequency dependence of the interconnect in question, and it does not make any assumptions about whether there is single transmission line involved, or many lines and discontinuities with different impedances.
