When the probe with the TekConnect interface is attached to the 80A03, the CSA/TDS8000B sets the V/D setting to match the dynamic range of the probe. As an example, the P7240 has 5X attenuation and +2V dynamic range. With a total dynamic range of 4V, the maximum V/D setting is 400mV/div (4V divided by 10 divisions). As a result, the V/D setting will change by a factor of 4, instead of 5.
