Does your software generate IBIS models?

The short answer is "yes." IConnect generates interconnect models, and they are essentially the same in SPICE and in IBIS - Z, and t, and RLC, except for some relatively minor syntax difference. There is a big difference between driver models for SPICE and IBIS, but not between the passive component models.

Generally speaking, as one of our customers stated, "there are no IBIS models. IBIS is a data transfer standard. Once you have the data, the data can be converted by you (or your simulator) to the BEHAVIORAL model of your (simulator's) choice."
