Is the 80A01 compatible to the CSA8200 and the TDS8200?

Yes, however, it does not add any capability the CSA/TDS8200. The 80A01 was designed to boost a trigger signal (above 3Ghz) to more than 1Vpk-pk for the Prescaler trigger inputs.

For the CSA/TDS8000 and CSA/TDS8000B, as the frequency increases above 3Ghz, the minimum trigger amplitude increases. For frequencies above 10Ghz, the minimum trigger sensitivity is 1.0V. The 80A01 amplified the signal being used to an amplitude the Prescaler trigger input can use.

The Prescaler Trigger input on the CSA8200 and TDS8200 has been improved so that the minimum trigger amplitude is 200mV, even above 10Ghz. As a result, the 80A01 is not needed with these products.
