What do I do if the 80A03 does not recognize my P7380 probes (the LED stays red)?

If the FW version (listed on the back of the 80A03) is 1.0, then the 80A03 needs a FW upgrade. With FW version 1.2, the 80A03 will recognize all P7000-series probes available at this time.

This FW upgrade is not customer-installable. The 80A03 must be upgraded at a Tektronix Service Center. To find the service center nearest you please refer to our website at: www.tektronix.com, under Contact Us.

The Serial Number range of 80A03’s that need this FW upgrade is: B010100 to B010157. All units above SN B010158 were shipped with FW version 1.2.
