How can I use a probe with the TekProbe interface on an oscilloscope which does not have this interface?

If a probe that uses the TekProbe interface is to be used with an oscilloscope that doesn’t have the TekProbe interface, then the 1103 power supply is required. This will power an active probe and couple the signal to the oscilloscope via a BNC cable. The 1103 power supply is not required to use a passive probe but the oscilloscope will need sense the attenuation factor. The user must account for this factor in the measurements.
