RSA3408A+ RSA2203A+ RSA2208A+ RSA3303A+ RSA3308A+ WCA230A+ WCA280A: How do I get the spectrogram data to my computer?
Antwort:
There is no direct way to get the spectrogram data, but there are a few possibilities for getting your information:
- First, the only direct spectrogram outputs are a .BMP image of what is on screen, via the Print to file function, or Print to printer functions. The downside is the bitmap image will not contain the spectrogram information that has scrolled off of the top or bottom of the spectrogram graph area.
- Second, if you are in real time mode, then you can save the .IQT data file, then transfer the .IQT file to your PC, and use the RSAVu software to create a spectrogram on your PC. You can scroll through the spectrogram, just like you would on the instrument.
- Third, you can save and transfer the trace data, trace by trace as it is collected, and build your own spectrogram using that data. You would take a sweep, save the trace data, take another sweep, save the trace data, etc. Then you transfer the data of each trace to your PC. You would have to create your own color spectrogram from the multiple trace data. But these traces will not be real time (there will be dead time between trace captures).
