The SME signal generators simulate extensive modulation modes for analog and digital mobile radio. All modes (i.e. GMSK, pi/4-DQPSK, GFSK, FSK, RFSK, FFSK) are usable over the entire frequency range, with no external modulation or data sources required. Other features include internal control of frequency and level hopping, ultra-low RF leakage, a large LCD display and intuitive user interface. Optional coders extend coverage to virtually all digital networks.

The SMHU/SMGU are outstanding high performance RF signal generators. The SMHU58 is our top-of-the-line instrument for generating complex test signals for modern communications and radar systems. It combines a wide variety of modulation capabilities with the highest spectral purity and agility for frequency hopping.

I/Q and broadband FM modulators accommodate all digital and analog phase and amplitude modulation modes (PSK, QAM, ASK, etc.) for directional radio and satellite communications. Digital modulation GMSK/GFSK, pi/4 DQPSK and CDMA network-specific coders are also available. Along with arbitrary waveform generators such as the AWG2021, our IQSIM PC software complements the SMHU58 for easy generation of complex I/Q modulations.
