National Stock Number (NSN) Information

The National Stock Number (NSN) or NATO Number is assigned by the US Government or a NATO member government to an item of supply for inclusion into government logistics systems. This number consists of a four-digit Federal Supply Class (FSC) and a nine-digit National Item Identification Number (NIIN).

Because there are hundreds of thousands of NSN's, we ask that you contact us using the email form below. You may include any questions regarding the assignment of NSN or NATO numbers to Tektronix products or parts.

As an additional service, if you have a test, measurement or monitoring product that has been discontinued by the manufacturer, Tektronix may be able to provide a replacement product. Simply provide us with the NSN or the manufacturer's name and model number. We will research your questions and promptly respond to you.
