I purchased TDS2000 series oscilloscope without any communication module. Now+ can I add a GPIB module onto my current TDS20xx. Is TDS2CMAX the right accessory?

You are correct TDS2CMAX is the correct item to add GPIB. TDS2CMAX (Communication Module) provides GPIB, RS-232, Centronics-type Printer Port.

Accessories included with the module are: OpenChoiceTM PC Communication Software, RS-232 cable (012-1651-00), Programmers manual.

Note: This FAQ is not applicable to TDS1000B and TDS2000B series scopes, as these have an integrated USB port for communications and data storage.
