The Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA) announced its 2005 winners of the STAR Service Excellence Awards, and Tektronix achieved recognition as the top finalist in the Complex Support category. As stated by the SSPA, "The Complex Support STAR Award winner delivers sophisticated technical support for complex applications in mixed or otherwise complex environments, typically engineering and scientific fields, and often with senior-level customers." Tektronix is the only Test & Measurement company to win an SSPA award this year.
Tektronix' award application included Customer Service process, policy and performance information in several categories: Support Programs, Customer Satisfaction, Support Technologies, Performance Metrics and People Programs. Since its inception in 1989, the SSPA STAR Award has been presented to a wide variety of companies. This industry-wide recognition is unlike any other because a panel of peers evaluates each company’s application and determines that it delivered the best service possible.
