The DPO7000C also got a new computing platform including faster CPU, more memory, it can process longer data records and measurements faster.

For faster boot time users can now purchase an optional solid state hard drives for the C model. 

Windows 7 64-bit platforms have added these options for low speed serial decode and/or triggering.
