Question :

Tektronix recently gave away some promotional thumb / key drives. Some operating systems require a vendor supplied driver to allow access to the USB drive. Where can the driver be found for these USB drives?

Answer :

Tektronix Americas Marketing distributed a complimentary USB memory device without drivers. For most modern operating systems this will not be an issue as they consider these drives plug and play devices and will automatically load the driver.

For customers using Windows 95 or 98SE they may need to download a driver.

Tektronix procured several styles of these USB memory devices from a distributor called USBkey to be given as gifts or promotional items. You will find a website for this vendor at www.usbkey.biz which has a link for downloads. On their downloads page you can find pictures of the various styles of drives they offer along with their drivers and users manuals.

These devices are provided as a complimentary gift from Tektronix and no technical or service support is implied.
