Can the Touch Screen be disabled so that it cannot be enabled from the scope application?

No. There is no way to disable the touch screen in such a manner so that it cannot be enabled by pressing the Touch Screen button on the front panel.

The Touch Screen can be disabled by a GPIB command. However it will not lock out the Touch Screen button on the front panel.
