Can the AFG3000 series generators produce true random noise+ or just pseudo random noise?
The AFG3000 series can only produce pseudo-random noise.  It does not have a true analog noise source.  The AWG400 series and AWG500 series generators have analog random noise sources built in, providing a true random noise source.
