Can I record data from two USB RSA’s at the same time?

Yes recording of streaming data is possible up to 40MHz bandwidth for either free running or triggered data, using DataVu-PC with the RSA500A, RSA600A, or RSA306B’s.

Can I connect to two USB RSA's at the same time?

Using DataVu-PC you can indeed connect to two RSA500A, RSA600A, or RSA306B’s concurrently. Both SA’s need USB3.0 connections and adequate throughput, then you can select RSA LiveVu 1 and 2. Trial licenses for DataVu-PC functionality can be found here:

AFG in MDO3000, MDO4000C, and 5 Series MSO do not have sweep function. But a limited sweep may be created using the arbitrary function.

Where can I locate the save on trigger feature on the 5 series MSO?

It is in the “Acquisition” badge located in the lower right corner of the screen. It allows the user to set the configuration to save the waveform file or screen capture when there is a triggered event.

Can multiple auto measurements be removed at once on the 5 series MSO?

No. Currently, the user interface does not allow to remove all auto measurements at once. The closest workaround will be recalling the default setup.

Is e*scope supported on the 5 or 6 series MSO with the Windows 10 installed?

Yes.  With firmware v1.8 or above, using the web browser access to the Windows 10 version is supported along with TightVNC.  TightVNC must be installed on both the remote PC and the scope.  For the detailed setup instructions, please see the 5/6 series online help manual.

Is BUS trigger mode supported in the AB sequence trigger mode on the 5 series MSO?

Yes. However, it does not apply to both events. It could be only either A or B event for the bus trigger. The second event is locked to edge trigger type.

When upgrading firmware get “Cannot establish connection: Connection timed out”.

Make sure that the instrument is in upgrade mode. On the instrument itself, navigate to Config -> Utilities -> System Upgrade -> Network Upgrade and select “continue” by pushing the ”SEL” button.
