Will the P6516 Logic Probe work on my Oscilloscope?

The P6516 logic probe was only used with the original MSO4000 series. For the subsequent MSO4000B, MDO4000B and MDO4000C Series oscilloscopes, the P6516 was replaced by the P6616 logic probe.

What is the maximum floating voltage for a single-ended probe?

A single-ended probe is a ground-referenced probe. The alligator clip connected to the side of the probe is a ground reference. This allows the scope and device under test have a common reference to ground.

Roll Mode provides an instant display response when the oscilloscope is operating at very slow sweep speeds. Without it, the acquisition must complete before the display will update. With Horizontal Scale factors as slow as 1000 s/div, that can be a long wait.

5 Series MSO Bandwidth Upgrades

Bandwidth upgrades to 500 MHz and 1 GHz can be accomplished by ordering an upgrade product and entering a new software license into the instrument. The instrument bandwidth appears in the Help-> About menu near the top of the window, between the Model and Serial Number.
