What MDO4000C options can be upgraded in the field?

Only MSO, AFG & DVM/Frequency counter can be upgraded in the field. The DVM/Frequency counter is available on all models and is free when when the product is registered. Analog bandwidth upgrade options require the instrument to be calibrated at the Tektronix Service Center.

Do we get a Spectrum Analyzer equal to the analog bandwidth with a purchase of the MDO4000C?

No, all MDO4000C come without Spectrum Analyzer (SA) options. For flexability you can now order the base unit and add either option MDO4SA3 (3GHz RF channel) or MDO4SA6 (6GHz RF channel).

When analog bandwidth is upgraded on a MDO4000C do we get new probes?

MDO4000C scopes with or less than 500MHz analog bandwidth come standard with TPP0500B 500MHz passive probes, one per channel. If upgrade to 1GHz analog bandwidth you will receive TPP1000 1GHz passive probes that come with the upgrade.

Is Analog BW upgradable on the MDO4000C and can it be upgraded in the field?

Yes, the MDO4000C analog bandwidth has upgradable bandwidth options. Once purchased it does require a new calibration at Tektronix Service Center.
