On some of our devices+ some of the I/O channels are changed from input to output channels on-the-fly. Can the 3-state bit assignments be changed during the test on-the-fly also? The TLA7PG2 does not support on-the-fly channel-to-channel changes.

On both the P6470 TTL/CMOS and P6471 ECL probes+ are the drivers series terminated or is there a user choice?

The P6470 TTL/CMOS probe has user selectable internal termination.

For the P6471 ECL probe, the user must provide their own external termination.

My engineering team is using different simulation tools as well as other design tools for designing PALs and ASIC components for our systems. Are there any tools for moving simulation or test data to the TLA7PG2 pattern generator modules? What data formatYes, you can use SynaptiCAD's Waveformer Pro available directly from Synapticad (1-800-804-7073 or www.syncad.com). A variety of data formats are supported - please refer to Synapticad for further details.

Is the 3-state control done at a bit-by-bit basis or a probe-by-probe basis?
The 3-state control is provided on a probe-by-probe basis.

For the P6470 TTL/CMOS probe+ what are the voltage levels with corresponding maximum sink and source current? And what are the typical voltage levels? The P6470's voltage levels are programmable from 2.0 to 5.5V. The P6470 uses a 74LVC541A as data output driver for which it's specifications are: device output voltage level = 3.8V at Vcc=4.5V and 24mA current. Please refer to the TLA7PG2 specifications in the TLA700 section for further details.
