The Company has implemented an innovative approach to group insurance benefits. This program is comprised of various plans, such as medical, dental, vision, retirement, time off and more. Everyone has different needs and those needs may change over time. The plans are designed to provide resources to meet those needs.
The plan design reflects our belief that benefits are a shared responsibility between associates and the company. Tektronix provides associates with affordable resources for quality, cost-effective medical care, offers opportunities for vacation and holidays, and helps associates achieve financial security at retirement. Likewise, associates share in benefit costs and are accountable for benefit decisions based on their personal circumstances. We believe these benefits are important points to consider, because if you know that you and your dependents are cared for, it allows you to focus on your job and be less concerned about other things.
Associatess will have 31 days from their hire date to elect their insurance coverage for themselves and their dependents. Any coverage elected will become effective their date of hire. Premiums are charged as appropriate.
There are no pre-existing condition clauses with any of our medical plans.
All active, regular associates with 40 hours or more work hour base (20+ hours per week) are eligible.
