GeoProbe Administration

This course teaches you the fundamentals of configuring and administrating the GeoProbe system. You will learn how to configure network maps, alarms, applications, and the SUDS and CDR profiles. The course also introduces you to administrating your user accounts and configuring the GeoProbe system to collect historical statistics. The course uses lectures and then you apply the knowledge using hands-on exercises. By the end of the course, you learn to create and maintain network maps, user accounts, alarm configurations, statistic configurations, and SUDS and CDR profile configurations.

Course Length -- 3 Days

Recommendation
This course can be conducted either at a Tektronix Training facility or at the customer site. If on-site training is requested, it must be conducted on a fully operational GeoProbe Mobile system (some hands-on labs will be limited to lecture only, to avoid disrupting the in-service GeoProbe system).

If training is conducted at a Tektronix Training facility, only minimal simulations of SS7, GSM/GPRS, UMTS, and VoIP traffic are available.
