iMap Converter Utility version 2.0

The PC-based iMap Converter utility converts industry-standard geographic coordinate maps, as well as bitmap images, into GSF format files.  The program also lets you combine multiple map files into a single map. Once converted to GSF format, the resulting map can be copied to a given instrument for use by the RF Scout, SA2500, or H500 applications.

Industry standard map formats that can be converted to GSF format includes the following:

- USGS DLG (.opt)
- MapInfo (.mif)
- ArcInfo Shape (.shp)
- 256 color Bitmap (.bmp)

This utility has been tested on Windows XP and Windows Vista systems only.

Installation
------------

1) Unpack the ZIP file downloaded from the web.
2) Run IMapConverter_V2_setup.exe and follow the on-screen instructions provided by the installation wizard.
