Description

The DTG5000 Series Product Software is an integral part of the DTG5000 Series Data Timing Generator.

Known Issues

The following list contains information on instrument functions associated with this software release.
Version 1.0.14 has the following known issues and workarounds.

* Issue - Service Request generation

In some condition Service Request (SRQ) generation will be deferred until the device is unlistened.
The following code shows the error that can occur and a workaround for this error. (The code is written in C
and using National Instrument NI488 library.)

Workaround1:  Use ibconfig(IbcUnAddr, 1) to ensure that the device is unlistened always after the ibwrt.

* Issue - <PROGRAM MESSAGE TERMINATOR> without ^END

In the IEEE488.2 specification, <PROGRAM MESSAGE TERMINATOR> is defined as one of the NL, ^END or NL^END.
The Data Timing Generator does not respond to the NL until it is unlistened.

The following Query Errors will never be generated.

-410, "Query INTERRUPTED"
-420, "Query UNTERMINATED"
-430, "Query DEADLOCKED"
