From purchase to retirement, from installation through upgrades, you can rely on Tektronix for comprehensive support throughout the lifecycle of your product. Most of our products remain in production for a period of three to five years, followed by a long-term product support (LTPS) period of five years in post-production. Some of our products are even readily supported after that time. Additional services vary by product and support capacity.

Full Support - The product is currently in production or within the long term product support (LTPS) period that realizes full support: all technical resources, calibration equipment, and available parts that allow repair and calibration support.
Calibration/Best Effort Repair Support: - The product has exited the Full Support time period but is still eligible for Calibration Support; with either moderate or limited repair capabilities.
Best Effort Technical Support: - Although the product has passed the LTPS phase, it may still be eligible for technical support, as available.
End of Support - Products in this stage have no support available. Alternative products are available via the Web, or for additional information, contact your Salesperson or Service Office.
