MTM400A Software

The following significant software enhancements have been implemented in the MTM400A monitor and in version 3.1 of the RUI (Remote User Interface).

The following significant software enhancements have been implemented in the MTM400A monitor and in version 3.0 of the RUI (Remote User Interface):

New user-interface with significant usability enhancements, including the FlexVu display
Graphical EPG view
Graphical multiplex bit rate distribution history
Historic trend graphs for RF and IP metrics

Full details of the differences between the MTM400 Remote User Interface (RUI) and the MTM400A RUI are given in the MTM400 and MTM400A MPEG Transport Stream Monitors RUI v3.0 Upgrade Technical Reference Document 071-2505-00. It is recommended that users download and review this document before proceeding with the upgrade.

The MTM400 firmware V2.6.1 release adds the following enhancements;

Support for displaying MPEG-2 I-frames (thumbnails)
Facility for sending traps to a different destination port
Traps added indicating polling status, polled, about to poll and acquisition time end
OID added to report polling status, idle, polled, acquisition or about to poll
Option key format in the Device application info screen reformatted
