In the transition from analog to SD to HD video in a traditional broadcast or post production environment, Tektronix tools provide support for multiple standards and formats allowing you to grow as your business requires while maintaining the consistency of quality and user interface.
Video compression is a fundamental enabling technology for DTV as well as IP Video applications and IPTV. Tektronix offers the broadest (across multiple standards and physical layers) and deepest (in-depth generation and analysis) test capabilities for digitally compressed video.
As vast libraries of file-based content are built, the content is re-purposed and reused via a variety of distribution methods. File-based content analysis eliminates the uncertainty of visual inspection and the need to decode, evaluate and re-encode a piece of compressed media for quality control.
