The Multi-Carrier IQ (MCIQ) is a PC-based software package that allows wireless design and manufacturing engineers to fully utilize the flexibility of their Tektronix Arbitrary Waveform or Arbitrary Function Generator (AWG/AFG) for creating and editing modulated signals. MCIQ provides tools to create analog, digital, baseband and IF/RF signals with or without impairments for download to and play back from the entire line of Tektronix Arbitrary Waveform and Arbitrary Function Generators.

MCIQ offers all the capabilities needed to use any Tektronix AWG right in your signal environment:

• Broad generation capability from Baseband IQ to IF/RF signals
• Multiple carrier capability with independent definition of modulation parameters for each carrier
• Fast compilation speed to handle ultra long record lengths with direct file creation in the target instrument
• Support of user defined base-band filtering, modulation scheme, symbol list, modulation envelopes, and payload data
• Built-in analysis including phase, constellation and eye diagrams, signal density and histogram display (DPO mode)
• Support of ASCII format for data export to spreadsheets and scientific software packages
